IR. MOHAMAD RAHIMI BIN MOHAMED RODZI

Brief Profile

Ir. Mohamad Rahimi bin Mohamed Rodzi holds a Master of Engineering (Power System) from University Malaya and has built a distinguished career in electrical and control engineering. He worked with MMC Oil and Gas, Ranhill Worley, and Bromma as Technical Lead Engineer (Electrical) in the Research and Development (R&D) department, working with multiple R&D teams across Sweden, Singapore, and Malaysia, where he played a pivotal role in the design, optimization, and technical execution of engineering projects in the oil and gas and port harbor crane spreader industries.

He has collaborated with major oil and gas clients including PETRONAS, Shell, Repsol (formerly Talisman), MURPHY, and North Oil Company, as well as key ports client such as CTSP Petersburg, Russia, Virginia Port of Authority, Port of Jeddah, Safiport Turkey, Port of Felixstowe, UK, and Montreal Gateway, Canada. His career also includes extensive involvement in EPCC for nearly 20++ oil rigs, over 100++ visited oil platforms in Peninsular Malaysia and Sarawak, and more than 300++ quay and yard crane spreaders across continents, including Europe, Middle East, US, and Southeast Asia.

Currently, he continues to lead in TVET education and training at University Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah with the ultimate aim of exposing students to the real engineering and technical world.
