This video will explain the safety and occupational health procedures that must be followed while on the premises.

1. While on the premises, you will see several safety signs displayed in various strategic locations.
Please understand the meaning of the safety signs and comply with the restrictions.
You are not allowed to enter restricted areas without permission.

2. In certain areas, you may be required to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) provided to you if necessary.
If you observe any unsafe actions or conditions on the premises, please report them immediately to the Advanced TVET Center administration office.
If you are a Contractor, ensure you apply for a PTW (Permit to Work) before starting any work.
Please fill out the PTW form and make sure you understand the work risks and take appropriate control measures to minimize them.
Make sure the PTW is displayed at the worksite and always follow safety procedures.

3. The following are safety measures that need to be followed in the laboratory:
Before entering the lab, scan the QR code to access and fill out the laboratory usage form.
Be cautious of sharp objects and always stay aware of designated warning lines.
You are strictly prohibited from opening electrical distribution boxes.
Ensure fire extinguishers are in a ready state, PASS - Pull, Aim, Swipe, Squeeze.
In case of injury, obtain a first aid kit from a First Aider.
Ensure waste is disposed of according to the color-coded recycling bins.
Ensure all equipment is rearranged, practice 5S, and EKSA.
To increase safety awareness, read the safety policy provided.
This building is equipped with devices to handle any emergency.


4. You are advised to identify and familiarize yourself with the location of emergency exit routes and the nearest Assembly Point, as indicated on notice boards and emergency exit doors.
During a fire incident, if the fire alarm sounds, do not panic and follow the building evacuation procedure.
Follow the instructions given by the emergency action officers.
Immediately leave your location and do not take your personal belongings during the fire, walk in an orderly manner, and avoid pushing.
Follow the signs to the nearest emergency exit.
